Corcovado: Sirena Station
Corcovado National Park is so rich in biodiversity that National Geographic once called it “the most biologically intense place on earth.” While the entire park is teeming with activity, the highest concentration of wildlife is around the Sirena Biological Station. Here we will walk the trails, searching for tapirs, anteaters, sloths, Jesus Christ lizards, colorful birds, and all 4 species of monkeys found in Costa Rica.
Tours from Uvita and the Costa Ballena area arrive by boat via Sierpe. Special arrangements can be made to enter by boat from Puerto Jimenez or to hike in from the La Leona and Los Patos stations. Tours to the San Pedrillo Station can also be arranged upon request.
Duration: Day tours or overnight tours can be arranged

The Oso Perezoso Experience
International Nature, Wellness, and Cultural Immersion
The are places in the world that are remarkable for their wildness and biodiversity. The Oso Perezoso Experience explores these places that are not only biological, but spiritual hotspots. In collaboration with Life Power Yoga Uvita, 1 to 2 week-long vacation packages are designed with activities that combine nature, wellness, and cultural immersion.
The name of the experience is derived from the Spanish work for a sloth “perezoso,” often nicknamed “oso perezoso” or “lazy bear.” The sloth represents both the wild and the peaceful. Rather than relying on speed to avoid predation, the sloth uses the algae in its coat to blend in with the greenery of the rainforest, which shows us the importance of being in harmony with nature. We can all learn a thing or two from the sloth ;)
Destinations: The first Oso Perezoso Experience took place in July of 2024 in the South Pacific of Costa Rica. We will be going Peru in June & July of 2026, traveling to Cuzco, the Amazon, and Paracas. Inquire about details.
